The Temperature Control Knob is the user-operated component for setting the soleplate heat on the STB 2128 series professional iron boxes. This plastic knob presses directly onto the shaft of the thermostat. By turning the knob, the operator adjusts the thermostat's internal setting to increase or decrease the iron's temperature, providing precise control for different fabric types. It is removed by simply pulling it off the shaft.
